Family History Day at SPAN

  • Tuesday, 11 February 2014 00:00

We’ve been researching the history of local women – come and see our family friendly exhibition!

As part of the Know Your Bristol project, a group of women from Single Parent Action Network have been working alongside researchers from the University of Bristol to find out about the hidden history of women and work. Come along to our family-friendly celebration of art and history to see the exhibition we have made, and our contributions to the Know Your Place website.

Family event 15 March 2014, 11am - 4pm

There will be art activities for all ages, storytelling, a history taster session from 12-1 and a talk by historian and activist Ellen Malos from 2.15-3.

The café will be open, so pop in at any point during the day from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free, no booking required.
